Stevie C’s Visual Basic Binaries

Below are some Visual Basic software applications I have written (for Win 98 & later).
They serve no practical purpose whatsoever…
But hey, try them out and who knows, you might like them.

Please note these VB projects are not in development as I no longer run Windows.

Free drinks holder Believe it or not, this application gives you your own free drinks holder. No tricks, no adverts, no hidden fees, no subscriptions, no bumf.

Racing car game - 2009 edition A racing car game programmed in Visual Basic and updated for 2009. The 2009 edition builds on the 2007/08 version - with more bug fixes and added features (the ability to go "all-in", saving of preferences etc). You can lay bets on what car will win.
See if you can find the hidden cheats…

If your car comes 1st, you win the amount gambled.
A 2nd place wins half the gambled amount.
A 3rd or 4th place loses you the gambled amount.
If you go bankrupt, you get a small starter allowance paid into your balance; this allowance decreases each time you go broke. Going broke 3 times results in you losing the game.

Reverser: A basic application that reverses text & numbers. Handy for writing emails in school etc where a technician or perverted librarian may be monitoring what you write. The reciever of the email should also have this program with which to copy & paste & un-reverse the message.

Hogwarts Sorting Hat: Use this application to find out what house you would be sorted into at Hogwarts. Will you be joining Draco and the Slytherins, Harry and the Gryffindors or just the Ravenclaws or Hufflepuffs?

File Downloader: This nifty application allows you to download a file from a Uniform Resources Locator.

[Random] - aka The Wall: Do you have what it takes to defeat the randomness? No choice! - because that’s the only way to exit the application (bar CTRL-ALT-DEL). One of the 1025 boxes is the exit button - but which one? (It changes every time - as does the color of the boxes).
